Due to high demand, there is currently an extensive waiting list for ongoing therapy appointments. I am committed to providing high-quality, individualised support and therefore limit the number of clients I see at any one time.

New enquiries are welcome; however, wait times for ongoing therapy may be several months.

Assessment-only appointments are available.
Assessment
Assessments are important to determine your child’s current level of communication skills in order to diagnose, analyse and build goals from. The first session for any new referral would be considered an assessment session where a mixture of formal and informal assessments tools may be utilised.

A formal language assessment can provide normative data to compare your child to age matched peers across a number of domains and is often used in helping to form a diagnosis and for funding applications.
​
Assessments can be provided as a stand alone and will be accompanied by a detailed written report. These can be beneficial when recommended by school or paediatrician to provide further information regarding your child’s language and learning profile or if you are working towards a diagnosis.
Intervention
Regular speech pathology intervention sessions will be available from February 2024 from Karina’s home office based in Matcham on the Central Coast, 5km from Erina.

Clinical Supervision
Karina has 10 years supervising speech pathologists and students, providing clinical supervision and helping them to build reflective practice. She has extensive experience with managing complex clients across a generalist communication caseload.
She takes a functional approach to goal setting, particularly for clients presenting with language difficulties.
